In some cases you can receive an exemption
for (part of) the integration exam in the Netherlands, for example if you have a Dutch diploma and the Dutch
mastered the language well. We are happy to help you obtain an exemption.
Even if you are not (fully) obliged to integrate, we will guide you throughout the entire procedure of applying for exemption from your integration obligation.

Apply for an exemption from the integration obligation
Have you already obtained a diploma in the Netherlands? Then you may be able to get an exemption. This means that you do not have to integrate further. You can only receive an exemption if you are required to integrate. Immigration Services is happy to support you with your application.
Even if you are not (fully) obliged to integrate, we will guide you throughout the entire procedure of applying for exemption from your integration obligation.
Conditions for exemption from integration obligation
When you in the Netherlands has worked
Have you worked in the past year? Then you may be able to get an exemption from the Orientation exam
on the Dutch Labor Market (ONA). You then no longer have to take the ONA exam.
Conditions:

You were employed and
-
you have worked for at least 6 months in the past 12 months and
-
you worked at least 48 hours per month.
Did you have to start integrating on January 1, 2022 or later? Then the ONA exemption is not for you.
ONA exemption - Completely disabled or with full early retirement?
Are you subject to an integration obligation and are completely incapacitated for work or have you already taken full early retirement?
Then you may be able to receive an exemption from the Orientation on the Dutch Labor Market (ONA) exam. You then no longer have to take the ONA exam.
Exemption request costs
There are costs associated with the request for exemption. You pay for the work of Immigration Services the Netherlands. We charge a fixed amount of€199 excluding VAT per request.
Is your application unexpectedly rejected? We will file an objection for you free of charge once your application has been submitted by Immigration Services.

Step 1 - Sign up

Step 2
Complete your registration by completing the registration form. You can then pay for the course securely online using one of the payment methods: iDeal (most commonly chosen payment method), PayPal or credit card (Mastercard / Visa).
Step 3
As soon as we have received your registration via our website, we will confirm the order by e-mail through a written order confirmation. After creating the file and confirming the assignment, we will start working on your case.
You will receive an email from us with what you need to create a file. We store your data in our system. This information will not be provided to third parties and is only intended for the assignment and processing of the necessary forms and documents.
After receiving the necessary documents for the request for exemption, we aim to submit the application to DUO within 5 working days. In the case of an exemption request for the basic integration exam abroad at A1 language level, the request for exemption must be submitted to the IND simultaneously with an MVV/TEV application.
